Our latest high pressure heat dome is centered over Missouri. Wind flow around high pressure areas is clockwise. So, storms that form over Wisconsin can drop in on occasion over the coming days. This won't alleviate the heat, as the coverage area will be fairly small. Even when there is evaporative cooling from the rain in the thunderstorm, it's usually only for a couple hours. It will also not have an impact on the high humidity. We need a cool front to usher that out the door.
