BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Families wanting to make a difference stepped up to bat Saturday for Wayne’s Wiffle for a Wish.
The annual fundraiser aims to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine by hosting the largest wiffle ball tournament in the state.
In addition to the game itself, guests could support the cause by purchasing raffle tickets, t-shirts, and other such items, the proceeds of which go directly to Make-A-Wish Maine.
Wayne’s Wiffle for a Wish founder Wayne Harvey says he was inspired to start the tournament following the birth of his daughter.
