EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- A renowned entomologist gave a special presentation at angel mounds today in Evansville.
Visitors learned about different kinds of insects that are native to the area. After learning about the bugs people were challenged to a scavenger hunt on the nature trails to find those insects.
“The objective is just getting people excited to be outdoors, and to look a little closer because, 85% of all known animal life or bugs are theropods, essentially, so the goal is to get them out there, looking a little closer at, like, the majority of the animal life that exists out there,” entomologist Kevin Wiener said.
