A disqualified driver ran a red light in Leicester and caught the attention of police. Mariusz Kudyk who "forgot" he was banned was only reportedly behind the wheel as he needed to go to B&M.
The incident happened on Sunday, July 3 when a Ford Mondeo jumped a red light on Belgrave Circle in Leicester city centre . Police followed the vehicle which was driven by 43-year-old Kudyk into the car park of the B&M store in Belgrave Road and spoke with him.
Checks at the scene found Kudyk was subject to a two-year ban from driving and therefore did not have valid insurance. He was summoned to appear before Leicester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (August 13), where the case was heard.
