Dr. Timothy Shoen SARATOGA SPRINGS - Dr. Timothy Shoen, 71, passed away Aug. 10, 2025, at Saratoga Hospital following an extended illness. Born July 7, 1954, in Troy, N.Y., he was the beloved son of the late Robert and Carolyn (Iler) Shoen.

Tim grew up in Syracuse, N.Y., and graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1972. During those high school years, Tim enjoyed many sports, playing CYO basketball, summer league baseball, and he was a member of CBA's indoor track and cross-country teams. During his senior year, Tim was on the school's televised "It's Academic" team.
