A 'magical' eco-friendly pod built into the Welsh hills, two hours from Birmingham , has been named among the best glamping stays in the UK.

The Cae Bach glamping pod is located in the village of Cyffylliog near Ruthin in Denbighshire.

Described as 'quirky and romantic' by hosts and 'magical' by guests, the pod has been designed to blend into its natural surroundings, with forests and open countryside providing a calming backdrop for guests to get away from it all and be at one with nature.

Inside, the pod has a small seating area with a smart TV, an equipped kitchen with lush views, a king-size bed - all benefiting from far-reaching views through the expansive windows - and a shower room.

But it's the outside space that makes this stay so special.
