CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio – Maki House is set to open in Portage Crossing shopping center in Cuyahoga Falls, with specials beginning Monday, Aug. 18.

Maki House is at 2022 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls.

It’s the second location for the Japanese-focused restaurant. An eatery in Green opened in 2022.

The restaurant features steaming bowls of ramen, sushi bowls, teriyaki plates, milk-tea and boba-tea drinks and more. Everything on the menu is under $16.

Customers can receive 20% off orders from Monday, Aug. 18, to Sunday, Aug. 31.

The owner is Jason Sun, who has more than 20 years of restaurant experience.

Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
