CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Two people were injured early Sunday when their vessel crashed into Cleveland Harbor’s west side breakwall, according to the Coast Guard.

In a social media post, the Coast Guard’s Great Lakes District said it received a report of the crash at 7:23 a.m. When the station’s response-boat crew arrived at the scene, they found the vessel wrecked on the breakwall with two people hurt.

Coast Guard personnel transported both injured individuals to Edgewater Marina, where emergency medical services were waiting to transfer them for additional care.
