PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) - A local group is using the game of cornhole to support veterans by hosting weekly events at the AMVETS in Palmer.

We the People Cornhole, co-owned by Braden Peyman and Chris Santaniello, organizes these events to raise funds that help feed veterans, with 100% of the proceeds going to this cause.

"Everybody here today is all about veterans. They know our cause and know what we're here for," said Chris Santaniello, co-owner of We the People Cornhole.

The initiative, known as Barbeque for the Brave, aims to create a welcoming space for veterans and those who wish to support them. The league encourages anyone interested to join, regardless of veteran status.
