The National Transportation Safety Board ( NTSB ) has launched an investigation after an Air Canada Rouge Airbus A319 landed short of the runway at Nashville. The aircraft - operating an Air Canada Rouge flight from Toronto Pearson International (YYZ) to Nashville International Airport (BNA) - touched down short of runway 20L on Thursday.

The A319 was able to roll out without any further incident and taxied on its own power to the apron. The airframe involved remains grounded at Nashville more than 48 hours later, with some sources stating that it hit an approach light during its landing.
