Emmerdale enthusiasts believe they've cracked the mystery of Dylan Penders' real father as the young lad begins to settle into village life with April Windsor.

Dylan, played by Fred Kettle, first appeared on the ITV soap at the beginning of the year when April, portrayed by Amelia Flannigan, was living rough. Upon her return to the Dales, she was closely followed by Dylan, who confessed to struggling with drug addiction.

In March, Dylan departed the village for a rehab clinic funded by Marlon Dingle, played by Mark Charnock, leaving April emotional as she said goodbye to her friend. In July, Dylan returned to the village and has since disclosed his ties to drug dealer Ray Walters, played by Joe Absolom .
