The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is offering an update on the launch of its public transit.
Friday was the last day for the fixed-stop bus service, with on-demand service to start on Monday, August 18th.
The town says its UseTransit platform is for getting information on fares and Transit Cards, while the On-Demand App is for scheduling rides on the bus service.
Riders can register for the service on the UseTransit Platform, and transit cards can be picked up and loaded at the Town Office front desk during office hours.
Fares are $3 per ride, with no cost for children under 5 and who are accompanied by a paying rider.
