CLEVELAND (WJW) -- Another well-deserved honor for the man whose voice is synonymous with some of Cleveland baseball's most memorable moments of the past 30 plus years.

Saturday night ahead the Guardians game against the Braves, legendary radio play-by-play announcer Tom Hamilton was celebrated for his recent induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown as the 2025 Ford C. Frick Award recipient.

Joined by his family for an on-field ceremony, Hammy also learned he would be inducted into the Guardians Distinguished Hall of Fame.

"Tonight, as part of our celebration of Tom Hamilton's induction into Cooperstown, Hammy was also named as the newest member of the Cleveland Guardians Distinguished Hall of Fame!" the Guardians posted Saturday on social media.
