NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WFSB) - An investigation is underway following a deadly shooting in New Haven.

At around 2:52 a.m. officers were called to the area of College Street after a report of a shooting.

Officials said an 18-year-old from West Haven man died due to the extent of his injuries.

A 23-year-old man from Hamden was also injured and walked into Yale New Haven Hospital.

No further details were released.
