Alicia Silverstone had a big crush on Cary Elwes.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly published Saturday, Aug. 16, the “Clueless” star opened up about making her film debut in 1993’s “The Crush.”
Silverstone, who was just 16 at the time, starred in the psychological thriller alongside Elwes, then 30, and she told the outlet that it was a dream come true – even despite the pair’s 14-year age difference. 7

“I just remember that, when I was little, telling people that I was ‘going to kiss the boy from The Princess Bride, but he’s a lot older than me,'” she shared. “We had this kiss in the film and, because I was young, I thought that meant he was my boyfriend now.”
“Not really, but a little bit,” Silverstone added. “I went to his trailer and asked him if that was okay,
