The union representing Air Canada flight attendants vowed to fight a federal order to end their strike , calling it "blatantly unconstitutional" and accusing the government of siding with the airline.
“We invite Air Canada back to the table to negotiate a fair deal, rather than relying on the federal government to do their dirty work for them when bargaining gets a little bit tough,” the union said in a statement Sunday.

Earlier in the day, the Canadian Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) directed Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge flight attendants to "resume their duties” by 2 p.m. ET, the airline said in a statement.
