CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) -- The City of Carterville is alerting the public about an upcoming road closure.

The city stated Shawnee Trail will be closed on Monday, August 18, 2025, starting at 9 a.m. and through 11 a.m. for the replacement of a culvert.

Officials inform the public to use alternate routes during this time.
