SESSER, ill. (WSIL) — Funeral services are set for Sesser Fire Chief Michael Rasnic.

Chief Michael Rasnic passed away last week.

The Sesser Fire Department stated the visitation for Rasnic will take place at the First Baptist Church in Sesser on August 23, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. There will also be a firefighter walk through at 12:45 p.m.

Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1 p.m.

After the funeral services will be the procession which will leave the church to the Sesser Fire Station and then to Maple Hill Cemetery for graveside services.

For fire departments wishing to bring any fire apparatus for the procession, you are asked to arrive at the First Baptist Church by 12 p.m.
