BOWLING GREEN — The City of Bowling Green and Bowling Green State University invite the community to a day of fun and entertainment.

The fifth annual Rally BG on Main will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Aug. 23 downtown. Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic during the event, officials said. A variety of free activities and performances are planned, along with music and food trucks.

Thrill seekers may zipline down Main, compete in the Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course, or try out the new super slide. Families may get up close to a fire truck and police car, play a round of mini golf, or have some fun with the Wood County District Public Library.
