There’s some great news concerning the health of veteran Seattle Seahawks pass rusher Uchenna Nwosu.
The team announced on Sunday that Nwosu has passed his physical, which means he’s no longer on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list and can return to practice.
Nwosu started training camp on the PUP list following offseason knee surgery. It was another injury-riddled 2024 for Nwosu, who sprained his MCL in preseason and missed much of the regular season with a torn quad muscle. He also suffered a season-ending torn pectoral muscle in 2023. After a breakout 2022 in which he recorded a career-high 9.5 sacks and was an important run defender, Nwosu has played in just 12 games over the past two seasons.
