MERCER COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A 13-year-old was airlifted to UK Hospital last night after a tubing accident.

Kentucky Fish and Wildlife tells WKYT that the 13-year-old was tubing at Herrington Lake when he was struck by another boat.

The accident happened last night around 8 p.m., according to Mercer County Emergency Management.

Kentucky Fish and Wildlife says the 13-year-old had multiple lacerations and broken bones.

They were airlifted to UK Hospital.

No foul play is expected and no criminal charges have been filed.
