LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - It’s been just over two weeks since a double homicide outside of the Lexington Public Library’s Northside Branch took place.

The Fayette County Coroner identified the two victims as 71-year-old Ashim Heanacho and 52-year old Edward Parker.

One Lexington woman, Kimberly, says Parker was like an uncle to her.

“He always lifted my spirits, you know, that’s one thing I can say about that man, no matter what. That man would look at you and just his smile alone would light up the room,” Kimberly says.

She says from the moment she first met Parker, “he was full of jokes, full of fun, full of laughter, full of smiles, full of heart. He had compassion for everything he did, and especially about his family,” Kimberly says.
