Registered C-FTJV, the Canadian flag carrier's initial 737 MAX was delivered nearly eight years ago, in October 2017. The most recent arrival was C-FFNW, in May 2025. All deliveries in 2024/2025 have an all-economy, 189-seat layout , with lower seat-mile costs designed for lower-yielding leisure markets. In contrast, the other 40 aircraft have 169 seats , with 16 business seats ( they do not convert into fully flat beds ) and 153 seats in economy.
