Aerosmith fans hoping for a farewell tour may need to adjust their expectations, although guitarist Joe Perry suggested the band might have one last performance left.

Perry recently met with lead singer Steven Tyler in Sarasota, Florida, to discuss potentially reviving the band’s “Peace Out” tour, which was cancelled in August 2024, as per a report by Parade . However, the prospects appear dim, he told Boston radio station WBUR .

“I’ve been spending a lot of time with Steven, and he just doesn’t want to tour and he can’t tour,” Perry said. “It’s tough. I’m not sure I would want to go out and book another 40-city tour. It’s a long way to the top and staying there takes it out of you, especially an Aerosmith tour.”
