BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A former professional football player and Alabama Crimson Tide standout athlete is accused of domestic violence, among other charges, News 5 has learned.

Timothy "TJ" Yeldon, 31, of Daphne, was arrested on third-degree domestic violence, third-degree criminal mischief, and interference with a domestic violence emergency call, according to a Baldwin County Sheriff's Office news release.

The BCSO received an emergency phone call transfer from 911 around 1 a.m. Aug. 16, and "BCSO communication officers could hear what was believed to be a domestic violence offense occurring between a male and female," the release said.
