BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Bay Minette man was critically injured Saturday morning in a two-vessel crash on the Tensaw River near Byrnes Lake in Baldwin County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Officials said the incident began around 8:50 a.m. Saturday, when the 42-year-old was operating an 18-foot homemade runabout. The vessel tilted sharply to the right side, ejecting him, a 34-year-old Bay Minette woman, and a 2-year-old child into the water.

Authorities said the boat continued circling after the ejections and struck the man.

A nearby boater, identified as a 46-year-old Daphne man, saw the crash and responded, according to ALEA. Officials said he and his passenger, a 50-year-old woman, pulled the child from the water and brought the toddler safely onto their boa
