A Temple man who admitted to having child pornography, which he created, on his phone was sentenced recently to a prison term.

Christopher Cosme, 41, was indicted by a Bell County grand jury on Aug. 14, 2024, on a second-degree felony charge of possession of child pornography. However, the public grand jury report did not list his name because he had not yet been arrested. Cosme was booked into the Bell County Jail on Jan. 3, and was being held without bond as of Thursday.

He pleaded guilty on June 25. On Wednesday in the 478th Judicial District Court, Judge Wade Faulkner found Cosme guilty and sentenced him to six years in prison, according to Bell County court records.
