Dean Corll was a serial killer and sex offender who abducted, raped and killed at least 29 teenage boys in the early 1970s in Texas.
One of his accomplices, Elmer Wayne Henly Jr., will be the focus of the documentary, “The Serial Killer’s Apprentice.”
“The Serial Killer’s Apprentice” airs at 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, on Investigation Discovery.
