Tommy Fleetwood was helped by an unexpected source at the BMW Championship.
The Englishman made a flying start to his final round at Caves Valley Golf Club in Maryland on Sunday.
Having started the day at seven-under, Fleetwood birdied the par four second hole to climb up the leaderboard.
However, it had looked like he would have to settle for par as his putt stopped agonisingly short of the hole.
His effort rested on the lip of the cup before finally dropping in as Fleetwood approached the ball.
The moment was met with cheers from the crowd surrounding the green as the 34-year-old let out a wry smile.
Replays showed he was given a helping hand by a fly, though.
The insect had been on the ball as it stopped before moving to the other side of the ball, prompting it to rotate and fa
