PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- A tentative deal has been reached between Butler Hospital and its workers who have been on strike for three months.

Butler Hospital President Mary Marran and Jesse Martin, executive vice president of the SEIU 1199NE, confirmed the development to 12 News via a joint statement.

"On behalf of both Butler Hospital and members of the bargaining committee representing all job classifications of the hospital, we are pleased to share that a tentative agreement has been reached. More details will be forthcoming in the coming days," the statement read.

Their statement added that additional details "will be forthcoming in the coming days."
