JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — Annabelle Priddy sells lemonade for a dollar per glass—but some pay $100 for a whole jar. At the intersection of Presidential Place and Washington Way, she raised money for the family down the street that lost their home in a gas explosion. A leak inside the house caused it, according to the Jeffersonville Fire Department.

"They have to rebuild, find a new home," Priddy, 11, said. "They have to have all new appliances, all new furniture, all new everything. It will never end for them."

The explosion happened July 30, sending five people to the hospital. Over two weeks later, neighbors put up a memorial of balloons for Patrick "Timmy" Grimes, the 53-year-old man who died from medical complications after the explosion.
