GREEN BAY — Matt LaFleur has made his feelings known about 7-on-7 drills for as long as he’s been the Green Bay Packers head coach.
For the uninitiated, 7-on-7 periods in practice are offense-versus defense, minus the offensive and defensive linemen. (Except the center. Someone’s got to snap the ball to the quarterback.) It’s a passing-centric drill that allows the quarterback to throw without worrying about pass rushers.
