Broncos sign fullback who began his career in Denver, place Nick Gargiulo on IR

The Denver Broncos are dealing with some injuries at the fullback and tight end positions, with Nate Adkins (ankle) and Michael Burton (hamstring) both on the mend. In addition to playing tight end, Adkins is a guy who can also play fullback.

But with Burton down with a hamstring injury, the Broncos brought in three fullbacks for tryouts: Khari Blasingame, Adam Prentice and Troy Hairston. They ended up signing Prentice , who actually began his career in Denver.
