The National Weather Service issued a flood warning at 11:55 p.m. on Sunday in effect until Monday at 4 a.m. for Bucks County.

The weather service describes, “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected for portions of southern New Jersey, including Burlington and Camden and southeast Pennsylvania, including the following counties, Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.”

“Flooding of small rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas,” explains the weather service. “Don’t drown when encountering flooded roads.
