MANCHESTER, N.H. —

A 56-year-old man was injured Saturday night in an ATV rollover in Hopkinton, New Hampshire Fish and Game said.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. on Lower Straw Road.

Officials said the man was riding an ATV in the woods behind his house when it got stuck on a tree stump.

As he tried to accelerate off the stump, the ATV flipped and landed on him.

Investigators said operator error likely caused the crash.

The man was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
