TV host Davina McCall has shared the drastic steps she took after being diagnosed with a brain tumour during a health check-up last November. Despite being told it was benign, the 57-year-old believed her life was in danger and began to prepare an end-of-life checklist, which she now describes as "the best gift."

In a heartfelt interview, the former Big Brother presenter confessed that she initially fell into denial following her diagnosis, reports the Express . However, a stern warning from her fourth neurosurgeon served as a wake-up call, prompting her to take immediate action.

Recalling the doctor's words, Davina said: "It's a big tumour. It can't grow anymore, or you'll get water on the brain. If you're on a plane, there would have to be an emergency landing."
