STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Rock legend George Thorogood and The Destroyers are set to bring “The Baddest Show on Earth” to the St. George Theatre on Sept. 14.

The band’s current lineup brings a refined show that Thorogood says has reached new heights. It includes Jim Suhler on guitar, Bill Blough on bass, Jeff Simon on drums and Buddy Leach on saxophone.

“I don’t do what the people expect. I do what they demand to see — a great rock show,” Thorogood, 75, told the Advance/SILive.com of the upcoming performance, among other things.

While discussing the upcoming show, Thorogood also reflected on past performances at the venue.
