STEVENS POINT − Mid-State Technical College has partnered with County Materials Corporation, which has donated $200,000 to support the Wayne H. Bushman Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering Technology and Apprenticeship Center in Stevens Point, according to a community announcement.
The donation secures lifetime naming rights for County Materials in one of the center’s classrooms. A check presentation and ribbon-cutting ceremony took place Aug. 13.
County Materials, headquartered in Marathon City, manufactures concrete construction products for essential infrastructure, including bridges, stormwater management systems, parking lots, warehouses and retail complexes.
