Beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, traffic patterns will change on W. Moss Avenue between N. MacArthur Highway and N. Western Avenue in Peoria. Westbound vehicles will be shifted to the south side of W. Moss Avenue to allow construction work on the north side from N. MacArthur Highway to N. Institute Place.

The road will remain open for westbound, one-way traffic only during this phase of construction. Drivers are advised to follow all marked detour routes and use caution in the area due to the closure.

For those traveling eastbound or westbound through the affected section of W. Moss Avenue, it is recommended to use alternative routes such as W Martin Luther King Jr. Drive or W Bradley Avenue via N West
