Reigning league champions were among the Greater Lansing football teams selected favorites to win league titles in the Lansing State Journal's fan vote last week asking readers to predict the winners of the CAAC Blue, Red, White and CMAC.

DeWitt was voted the favorite in the CAAC Blue, Mason was picked to win the CAAC Red, Portland was pegged as the winner in the CAAC White and Pewamo-Westphalia was tabbed the CMAC frontrunner. DeWitt, Mason and Portland each captured league titles in 2024 while P-W finished as the CMAC runner-up behind Fowler.

DeWitt (56.0% of vote) and Portland (62.2%) were viewed as the clear frontrunners in their leagues. Mason received 35.5% of the vote to win the CAAC Red followed by Haslett taking 26.8% of the vote. P-W received 42.6% of the vote to win the CMAC t
