30-year-old Strathroy resident deceased following Sunday evening collision

One person has died and another was transported to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in South-West Oxford on Sunday evening.

Provincial police say the deceased is a 30-year-old resident of Strathroy.

Oxford County OPP, paramedics and firefighters were sent to the intersection of Culloden Line and Mount Elgin Road just before 7 p.m on Aug. 17 after a sedan was in collision with a transport truck.

The driver of the sedan, a 30-year-old from Strathroy was transported to hospital and later pronounced dead. A passenger in the sedan was transported to a trauma centre with injuries that hadn’t yet been determined, OPP said in a statement.

The driver of the transport truck was not injured.
