LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - William Pendergrass, 55, of London, was arrested on Aug. 15 for DUI and sexual abuse.

It happened off Medco Lane in London during an investigation that police were already doing on Pendergrass.

During the interview, investigators said Pendergrass appeared to be intoxicated.

After investigating, Pendergrass was determined to be under the influence.

Pendergrass was arrested and charged with:

Operating a motor vehicle under the influence (First offense)

Sexual abuse (First degree, victim under 12 years of age)

Sodomy (First degree, victim 12 years of age or under)

Pendergrass is being held in the Laurel County correctional center.
