One person has died and another was transported to hospital following a collision involving a car and transport truck in South-West Oxford on Sunday night.

Oxford County OPP, paramedics and firefighters responded to the scene at the intersection of Culloden Line and Mount Elgin Road near Tillsonburg just before 7 p.m on Aug. 17.

The driver of the sedan, a 30-year-old from Strathroy, was transported to hospital and later pronounced dead. A passenger in the sedan was transported to a trauma centre with injuries that hadn’t yet been determined, OPP said in a statement.

The driver of the transport truck was not injured.
