COLUMBUS, Ohio — In a video posted to YouTube Monday morning, Democrat Sherrod Brown made his U.S. Senate bid official after weeks of speculation.

Brown said he didn't plan to run for office again, but said recent decisions from the administration changed his mind

"I didn't plan to run for office again, but when I see what's going on, I know I can do something about it for Ohio. That's why I'm running for Senate," Brown said in the video.
