President Donald Trump announced Monday his intention to spearhead a movement to eliminate mail-in voting and voting machines, citing what he called “massive voter fraud” and a lack of election integrity.

Writing on his Truth Social platform, the President wrote that he would begin this effort by signing an executive order to “help bring HONESTY to the 2026 Midterm Elections.”

He argued that mail-in ballots and voting machines were “inaccurate,” “very expensive,” and “seriously controversial,” advocating instead for the use of “Watermark Paper” ballots, which he said were faster and left “NO DOUBT” about the outcome of an election.
