A "suspicious" vehicle following a man down a rural Leicestershire farm track contained three men smoking drugs. The trio were arrested after the man had reported the incident to police.

The man became uneasy by the "suspicious" Land Rover Discovery on Wednesday, February 19 as it followed him down the track road near his home in Melton Road, Brooksby , in the Wreake Valley. Police were called and when officers arrived, they discovered the vehicle and inside it were three men smoking cannabis.

All three were arrested, with the driver, Jacob Cooter, given a saliva test that showed he had cocaine and cannabis in his system. He was taken to a police station where a blood sample was taken.
