Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes ' reaction to teammate Travis Kelce dating pop superstar Taylor Swift was revealed in the third episode of ESPN 's Chiefs docuseries The Kingdom .

“[Kelce] told me during the week,” Mahomes said of Swift's initial appearance at Arrowhead Stadium in support of Kelce in September 2023 via the New York Post . “I was one of those like, ‘I got to see it, you know? I got to see it until I believe it.’”

The docuseries also shared game footage of Mahomes and Kelce chatting about Swift's initial appearance in a luxury suite during the team's blowout win against the Chicago Bears.

“That’s the first person I noticed. I didn’t see anybody else,” Mahomes told Kelce.
