HILLSBORO, Ore. — The Hillsboro Hops scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk off the Everett AquaSox, 3-2 on Saturday.
The Frogs took a 2-1 lead into the ninth inning of the Northwest League game at Hillsboro Ballpark, but were unable to hold on as Everett lost for the third time in five tries in the six-game series against the Hops.
The AquaSox (17-30 second half, 54-59 overall) will attempt to come away with a split in the series finale at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday.
