NAPLES, Fla. (WFLA) — A woman was reportedly bitten by an alligator while hiking in Florida.
NBC affiliate WBBH reported that the woman was hiking at the Crew Bird Rookery Swamp Trails in Naples on Sunday when she was bitten on her arm and leg by an alligator.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the North Collier Fire Department were called to the scene and took the woman to a nearby hospital.
The news station said a contracted nuisance alligator trapper was called to relocate the gator.
No other details were immediately available.
