WILLIAMSPORT, PA (WFSB) - Fairfield National remained hot in the Little League World Series.
Their ride is set to continue on Monday night.
They take on South Dakota at 7 p.m.
The team remained in the winner’s bracket, so even if they lost on Monday night, it would not eliminate them from the tournament.
Connecticut fans in both Williamsport and in the state have been supporting the team every step of the way.
“It’s not just our own Little League parents and families there,” said Brian Palazzolo, manager, Fairfield National. “There are a lot of people wearing Metro jerseys that I didn’t know before. They were out there cheering. So, getting out of the van, seeing them all ready to go and fired up, these guys are excited and ready for Monday.”
